The progress achieved by man as a result of technological development has led to the achievement of development in many areas, but the price of this development was the deterioration of the environment, which led to its inclusion among the most serious security challenges because it did not adhere to geographical or political borders, and its impact was not on poor countries and not on rich countries, but rather threatens The whole world, and this leads us to the fact that the international system will face major challenges if environmental challenges continue to rise as a result of international neglect, especially from industrialized countries that claim that they seek to achieve development. The United Nations played a major role in protecting the environment by holding the Stockholm Conference in 1972 Which was the beginning of global interest in the environment officially, in addition to other international conferences and agreements related to the environment, and at the internal level of countries, it was represented by several countries developing constitutional texts aimed at protecting the environment. In light of all these international and non-international initiatives aimed at protecting the environment, the future of the international system will be We face environmental challenges in addition to other challenges. However, all countries cooperate to reduce these challenges and vice versa. The world will change because of the environmental challenges that will change the map of the world at the geographical level and at the structural level of the international system.
